Resources for Professionals

Recognized nationally as a model of home ownership and foreclosure prevention programming, the Minnesota Home Ownership Center convenes a network of 50 non-profit, government and tribal organizations to deliver home ownership education and counseling and foreclosure counseling services to low and moderate-income households throughout Minnesota. Through its network of community partners, the Center provides 15,000 households each year with the tools they need to purchase and sustain affordable homes.

♦  Information and Referral Training Workshops:

As the foreclosure crisis sweeps across the state, organizations that encounter distressed homeowners are getting more and more questions about mortgage foreclosure. To help provide answers to these questions, Minnesota Home Ownership Center is offering a series of free training workshops on working with, and assisting, distressed and at-risk homeowners.

This training is designed for staff from public, private, governmental and non-profit organizations that come in contact with homeowners that may be facing the threat of foreclosure.
