HousingLink is engaged in tracking foreclosure recovery efforts of the Minnesota Foreclosure Partners Council (MFPC) over a period of five years, via a series of semi-annual reports. The MFPC is a collaborative effort by local government agencies and nonprofits to address the foreclosure crisis in Minnesota. The Minnesota Homeownership Center is a member of the MFPC. |

An examination of the cost-effectiveness of community-based foreclosure prevention interventions using two proxy measures: time to resolution and the rate of recidivism. This report examines these issues with data from over 4,200 borrowers who received intense case management, post-purchase counseling and/or assistance loans through the Minnesota Homeownership Center's Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Program in Minneapolis/Saint Paul. |
