1. Can I take the workshop anywhere?
Yes! Feel free to take the workshop wherever, and whenever, is most convenient for you. However, your loan product may require that you take a workshop from specifically approved providers (For example, if you’re purchasing an NSP or NeighborhoodLIFT property. See below).
2. Do I have to pay for the workshop?
Each Home Stretch provider establishes their workshop cost and that information is noted in the search results.
3. How long is the workshop?
A minimum of 8 hours. Some workshops are one day, others are 2-3 days. You must attend the entire workshop to receive your certificate of completion.
4. I’m purchasing an NSP property. Is there anything special I need to know?
Yes, you must work with an NSP-approved Home Stretch provider. Limit your search above to “Neighborhood Stabilization Program” under “Does your loan have any special requirements?”
5. I’m participating in the NeighborhoodLIFT program. Is there anything special I should know?
Yes, you must work with a NeighborhoodLIFT-Approved Home Stretch provider. Limit your search above to “HUD-Approved” under “Does your loan have any special requirements?”
