Home Ownership CenterHome Ownership Center

The Minnesota Home Ownership Center hosts a number of community events for home owners concerned about their existing mortgage and facing possible foreclosure.

Attend a Borrowers workshop in your community to confidentially speak with a mortgage support advisor as well as lenders and additional support available for homeowners.

The events provide an opportunity to ask questions and get free advice - confidentially - from professionals you can trust.  They are always FREE and open to the public.

♦   Full-Scale Workshops with Lenders/Servicers

Working in partnership with the Minnesota Home Ownership Center, a number of lenders and servicers are offering full-scale Foreclosure Prevention workshops in the Twin Cities Metro area this summer.  At these workshops homeowners can learn about the foreclosure process, meet with bank representatives and non-profit housing counselors to discuss what kinds of resources and assistance are available.

WORKSHOPS ARE BEING PLANNED.  Please check back soon.

♦   Information Sessions on Foreclosure Prevention:

In partnership with Hennepin County, Hennepin County Libraries, The City of St. Paul, Saint Paul Public Libraries, Washington County and the Washington County Libraries, the Center is offering smaller-scaled workshops in a more intimate setting.  At these workshops homeowners can learn about the foreclosure process, what kinds of helps and assistance are available in Minnesota and be able to set up an appointment for a more personalized, in-depth discussion at a later time.
