The Minnesota Home Ownership Center hosts a number of community events for homeowners concerned about their existing mortgage and facing a possible foreclosure.
Attend a Borrowers workshop in your community to learn about the foreclosure process, speak with a foreclosure counselor (foreclosure specialist) and learn about additional support available for homeowners. The events provide an opportunity to ask questions and get free advice from professionals you can trust. They are always FREE and open to the public. |

In partnership with Hennepin County, Hennepin County Libraries and other community organizations, the Center offers small-scaled workshops throughout the year. At these workshops homeowners can learn about the foreclosure process, what kinds of helps and assistance are available in Minnesota and be even begin the process of working with a foreclosure prevention counselor. | |
