
On December 8th, 2010, the Minnesota Home Ownership Center hosted the 4th Annual Emerging Markets Homeownership Initiative (EMHI) Summit. The Summit brought together industry, community and political leaders to explore progress and barriers to homeownership for communities of color. At the 2010 Summit, staff from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and Minnesota Housing presented an analysis of the state of emerging markets homeownership and the impact of the current housing and economic environment is having on efforts to close the gap.
In addition, the 2010 Summit included a panel discussion on client credit issues in Emerging Markets including information on credit repair and Fair Isaac.
The morning ended with a keynote address by Gary L. Cunningham, Vice President of Programs and Chief Program Officer of the Northwest Area Foundation.
